MSU CAM transitioning to Stratocore PPMS on Aug 1st

Beginning August 1, 2026, CAM scheduling will move from Google Calendar to PPMS
To get started using PPMS - Step 1: Create or edit your account (can be done anytime
now)
Follow the directions on this page to check/update or create your user account.

On-campus MSU users: Many of our existing on-campus users have been pre-loaded into the system. Log in with your MSU email and credentials:

If your PPMS account exists, update any incorrect information, and make sure you have a valid account number.

If your account was not pre-loaded, the website should prompt you to request your account. There are step-by-step directions in the MSU Stratocore user guide to help you.

Off-campus users: Choose 'Account creation request' on our CAM PPMS portal.
If you have any technical issues with your PPMS Stratocore account, please contact
the admin folks at ORI.ppms@msu.edu who have permissions to modify user accounts.
Step 2 - To book equipment for Aug 1st or afterwards
We will continue using our Google Calendars through July 31st. After that, all instrument reservations (bookings, in PPMS) will be done on our CAM PPMS Stratocore site.

If your equipment user rights have not been assigned yet, then you won't see the equipment on the 'Book' tab. Send us a note and we can provide access in the system.

For those who are not independent users of the equipment, any CAM staff member can help make bookings for you.
